Bob Boorin, CEO and Founder
Bob started SBR in 1998, with the goal of helping leading corporations expand their presence in the SMB marketplace. Prior to starting SBR, he was a Senior Executive at MCI and then Frontier Communication. Bob is married and has two children. He likes to fish, play tennis, and golf.
Maury Heim, President
Maury joined SBR in 1998. Maury oversees SBR’s vast array of writers as well as the Technology team in implementing client websites and SBR’s Library of Content. Prior to SBR Maury spent 29 years in the telecommunications industry in many sales roles for National Accounts. Maury is a veteran who honorably served in the U.S. Coast Guard. He has 5 grown children. In his spare time, he likes to golf and wood work.
Mike Baly, EVP of Business Development
Mike Baly joined SBR as Executive Vice President in 1999. Mike oversees business development and marketing. Prior to joining SBR, he ran his own consulting business, and was President and CEO of the American Gas Association. Mike works in Washington, D.C. where he supports arts organizations, is active in his church, and plays golf in his free time. Mike is married and has two grown children.
Joe Taylor, SVP Marketing
Joe joined SBR in 1999. Joe oversees SBR’s marketing programs supporting sales and product initiatives. Prior to joining SBR he spent over 20 years in sales, marketing and consulting within the telecommunications industry. Joe honorably served in the US Army and is a combat veteran. In his spare time, he is an avid deep-sea fisherman and golfer.
Anita Mettille, Director of Sales
Anita is a senior sales professional with almost 20 years’ experience working with financial institutions. With a background in complex technology solutions and marketing, along with sales leadership roles, Anita is an experienced collaborator with a keen sense of project management geared toward sales results. Anita spends her spare time in Chicago helping homeless dogs and cats find their fur-ever homes.
Kathleen Phelan, Director of Operations
Kathleen is responsible for keeping the daily operations running smoothly. She handles all the finances (accounting and billing), as well as Human Resources. Kathleen previously worked for MCI Telecommunications as a Branch Analyst for 14 years. Kathleen has two daughters and is also a proud grandmother. She likes to spend as much time as possible with her beautiful granddaughter.
Heather Morris, Director of Marketing
Heather is a marketing professional with over 25 years of proven experience in developing and driving key strategies to accomplish project plans, brand objectives and support growth across businesses for both B2B and B2C companies. Prior to joining SBR, she ran her own consulting business which provided project management, business development and procurement services for startup companies as well as companies acquiring government contracts. Heather currently serves as Petty Officer in the United States Navy Reserves as a Logistics Specialist.
