The nation's largest trade
organization for agriculture and pest management, representing developers,
manufacturers and distributors of most of the crop-protection products used by
American farmers. Promotes the safe use of pesticides. Activities include:
member newsletters, updates, networking opportunities with leaders and
stakeholders and annual meetings.

National Farmers Union
Grassroots organization that
protects more than 250,000 family farmers and ranchers nationally, with 32
organized state chapters. Activities include: development of innovative
programs, fair trade support, conservation and promotion of alternative energy
sources. Membership benefits include: adult and youth educational programs,
information on co-op start-ups and representation on policy changes and
legislative issues. Membership at the state level includes membership with the
national union. Those who join in states that do not have chapters can become

Southern United States Trade Association
Non-profit agricultural
export association made up of departments of agriculture from 15 southern
states and the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico that works to increase southern food
and agricultural product exports. Funded by the U.S. Department of
Agriculture's Foreign Agricultural Service, member states and independent
companies.
Activities include:
international expos, trade missions and seminars, promotions, product
exhibitions and showcases, education and market research. Membership
